Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Canada. As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will design, develop, and execute software verification tests for medical devices following corporate policies and business operating procedures.

Duties
  • You will work independently with minimal supervision on routine activities.
  • You will create software test process documentation, including verification plans, designs, and protocols.
  • You will perform unit, integration, and system testing, as well as capacity/performance testing of applications.
  • You will validate software test tools according to corporate procedures.
  • You will create automated test procedures using scripting languages like Python and Perl.
  • You will collect data to generate metrics to assess test progress and software quality.
Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering is required.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 per yearRequired Experience
  • 0-3 years of progressive engineering experience in software development and verification.
  • Competent in scripting languages like Python and Perl.
  • Experience working in the medical device industry or other regulated industries is highly desirable.
