About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Cyber Risk Governance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our risk management function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective oversight and control of technology risks across the organization.

Salary

The salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive offer that reflects the importance of this role in our organization.

Job Description

As a Cyber Risk Governance Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to implement processes and controls to ensure the effective assessment and challenge of technology risks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to strengthen our control environment.

You will also provide valuable insights into technology risks, contributing to Risk governance reports for Technology and Cyber Risk forums, and executive and board-level risk reports. Additionally, you will lead engagements with Technology change programs, maintaining oversight of project delivery risks and the ongoing management of operational risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar 2LOD Risk role, ideally with a background in specialist lending;
  • Expertise in Technology Risk and governance;
  • Ability to provide challenge;
  • Demonstrated experience of Control testing and design.
