Job Title: Electrical Trainee Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Electrical Trainee Technician. As a Trainee Technician, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced Technicians and Engineers, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in the electrical industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist experienced Technicians and Engineers in daily tasks and projects
  • Participate in site inductions and safety briefings
  • Contribute to the preparation of work areas and tools
  • Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Assist with cable fault locations and repairs
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • A full clean UK driving license
  • Ability to obtain authorization as a 'Competent Person' for Live Working Support
  • Willingness to travel and stay away overnight when required
  • Active engagement in the company safety policy and industry safety requirements
  • Enthusiastic approach to work and promoting the positive and professional reputation of the company
  • Eagerness to learn and develop knowledge and experience
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Jointers Mate/Craft Attendant course completed
  • Emergency First Aid at Work completed within the last 3 years
  • Holder of a valid CSCS or CSCS affiliated card
Benefits:
  • Hourly pay rate to be negotiated based on previous experience and existing qualifications/training
  • Paid travel to and from work
  • Minimum 40 hours per week paid, with applicable travel/overtime paid in excess
  • 20 days paid holiday entitlement (Plus Bank Holidays)

  • Use of company vehicle for travel to and from the site
  • Overnight accommodation expenses and meals are booked and paid directly by the company
  • Tools and PPE provided
