Main Responsibilities

The Clinical Lead will provide specialist support for women recalled to assessment and specialist nursing advice and education. They will place quality at the heart of practice by supporting the delivery of autonomous evidence-based individualized care, through holistic needs assessment, planning, and evaluation of care.

The Clinical Lead will act as an expert practitioner, demonstrating and utilizing specialist knowledge, skills, and expertise within breast care and across service boundaries as required. They will assess people's information needs and provide relevant information to meet those needs.

The Clinical Lead will troubleshoot during the patient pathway to assist all clinical areas to constantly ensure patient safety, optimized care, and a high-quality patient experience. They will influence the patient care pathway, referring to other professionals and signposting to other agencies as appropriate.
