We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our Early Intervention in Psychosis Service as a Clinical Lead in Psychiatric Services. The role will involve providing a principal psychology service to clients across all sectors of care, including highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy, as well as expert advice on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and carers. The post holder will be part of the wider North Area Psychological Therapies team, with links to Southampton University and the Doctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology.

Main Duties
  • Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy to clients across all sectors of care.
  • Offer expert advice on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and carers.
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.
  • Utilise research skills for audit, policy, and service development, and research within the area served by the team/service.
