Estimator Role Overview:

The Estimator at TAIT is responsible for assisting the organization with various estimating tasks, ranging from individual parts to entire projects.

This involves providing accurate historical cost data and reports to help manage staff, evaluate future elements, and predict final project outcomes.

The role can be based at either our Wakefield or Haverhill site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare realistic estimates to support project development and management.
  • Work closely with Project Management, Design, Finance, Procurement, and Production Control on estimates and project coordination.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Estimating team, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Support other project tasks, such as Cost to Complete (CTC), as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field or 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in controls, construction, estimation, or proposal building.
  • Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
