Job Summary:
Oakmoor Recruitment is seeking an experienced Product Development Manager to lead the creation of industry-leading training and assessment products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for taking full ownership of product development, from concept and needs analysis through to scope identification, procurement, and product or service release and ongoing maintenance.

About the Role:
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects and collaborate with technical experts to develop innovative solutions. You will be expected to maintain strong communication with stakeholders, ensure products meet the latest educational standards, and provide clear documentation and audit trails to back up your work. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and contracting with suppliers while managing their performance, effectively managing internal and external project stakeholders, and developing and maintaining good lines of communication internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training products, including standards, regulated qualifications, courses, e-learning materials, technical tests, assessments, and promotional materials.
- Identify, select, and contract with suppliers, managing their performance and ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Manage internal and external project stakeholders, providing regular updates and progress reports as needed.
- Develop and maintain effective lines of communication with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Requirements:
- A background in engineering (any discipline considered) or relevant experience within further education.
- Strong project management skills and experience in an engineering or training capacity.
- First-hand experience of training delivery and theory, training needs analysis, or training product and service development relevant to an industrial environment.
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Effective leadership and management skills, with the ability to network, negotiate, and influence people.
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications relevant to the role.

- An estimated salary of £51,500 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
