Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Pharmacy Aseptic Services team as a Pharmacy Support Worker - Aseptics. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a clean room environment, preparing medicines for patient administration.

About the Role

As a Pharmacy Support Worker - Aseptics, you will be responsible for aseptically preparing products for patient administration, working within pharmaceutical clean air devices, and following strict clean room behaviours. You will also be trained to work with specialist equipment and prepare products such as chemotherapy, clinical trials, and adult parenteral nutrition.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Aseptically prepare products for patient administration
  • Work within pharmaceutical clean air devices to prepare products such as chemotherapy, clinical trials, and adult parenteral nutrition
  • Follow strict clean room behaviours and standard operating procedures
  • Assemble trays containing consumables and ingredients for 1st stage checks
  • Document information clearly and accurately
