Compliance and Risk Management Lead

Deliveroo is transforming the way people shop and eat by connecting consumers, restaurants, shops, and riders. We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Lead to join our Regulatory Compliance team in London.

The estimated salary for this role is £75,000 - £95,000 per annum, depending on experience. This position comes with a range of benefits, including generous annual leave allowances, parental leave, and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.

In this role, you will play a critical part in helping Deliveroo navigate the complex landscape of food safety regulations. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Legal, Policy, Product, Care, and Operations to develop and implement effective risk management strategies. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring that Deliveroo's food safety strategy complements its broader legal and compliance strategies.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Identifying and assessing food safety risks across multiple markets;
  • Developing and implementing effective risk management protocols and procedures;
  • Providing guidance and support to business stakeholders on food safety matters;
  • Maintaining relationships with regulatory authorities and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
  • Supporting the maintenance and development of partner and rider-facing policies and processes.


To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in food safety compliance, ideally with 5+ years of experience. A formal food safety qualification is also essential. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build trust with stakeholders across the business, while your analytical mind will help you identify trends and patterns in compliance data.
