About the Position

We are seeking a Psychologist to provide evidence-based therapeutic assessment and intervention for young people and their families who have experienced early adversity and trauma. The successful candidate will:

  • Identify and work towards client goals and achieve successful outcomes for children who have experienced complex trauma.
  • Complete discipline-specific assessments to contribute to therapeutic plans, in collaboration with the integrated therapy team.
  • Provide therapeutic support to children and their families using evidence-informed therapies focused on attachment, emotional and sensory regulation, and socio-emotional wellbeing.
  • Hold tertiary qualifications in psychology and registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
  • Have at least two years' experience working with children, young people, and their families who have been impacted by trauma or experienced abuse and neglect, or at least two years' experience working in similar roles.
  • Have clinical and therapeutic understanding of the impacts of trauma on child and family functioning.

Please note that eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption is required for this position.
