We are seeking an experienced Medical Specialist to join our team as a Consultant in Cellular Pathology. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting autopsies, interpreting biopsy results, and contributing to the diagnosis of complex diseases.

About the Role:

  • Conduct autopsies and interpret biopsy results to inform patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary pathology, with a focus on small biopsies.
  • Participate in educational activities, including teaching and research, to advance medical knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and improve clinical outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., MBBS, MD, PhD).
  • Higher specialist training leading to CCT or GMC Specialist Register membership.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cellular pathology, including autopsies and biopsy interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
