About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team in the Black Country. As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and formulate individual interventions, plans, and outcome measures that promote recovery for adults with mental health difficulties.

Work collaboratively with partner agencies and professional disciplines to provide comprehensive care and support.

Develop and implement therapeutic interventions and psychotropic medication plans.

Provide education and support to individuals, families, and carers to promote recovery and social inclusion.

Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Post-registration experience of working in multidisciplinary community mental health services.
  • Knowledge of government directives and current policies.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act 1983.
  • Experience of using a range of therapeutic interventions, including CBT and SFT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
