Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team in the Bristol area. As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, providing high-quality care to our patients.
About the Role
This is a full-time position designed to provide a balanced and fulfilling work schedule. You will work four 9.5-hour days per week, with alternate Saturday mornings (8:30 am - 12:30 pm). A key benefit of this role is that there are no out-of-hours responsibilities, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
The Practice
You will have the opportunity to work across two sites, each offering a unique environment and a strong sense of community:
- A smaller, village-based practice near Bristol, focused on providing personalised care to a loyal client base.
- A larger, purpose-built facility near Bath, equipped with modern technology and state-of-the-art facilities.
Both locations are outfitted with digital X-ray machines, ultrasound, a comprehensive laboratory, blood analysis machines, fully-equipped operating theatres, and a dedicated dental suite. These resources will enable you to provide top-tier care to your patients.
Team
You will join a group of 4 experienced veterinarians who are committed to delivering the highest standard of care. The vets are supported by a talented team of 4 registered veterinary nurses, 3 student nurses, and 6 dedicated support staff.
The practices maintain a strong working relationship with the Local Referral Hospital, providing immediate access to specialist advice and referral options for complex cases. Within the team, they have 2 Cert Holders and are passionate about supporting further professional development. Whether you want to pursue additional certifications or explore new areas of interest, they are there to help you grow.
