About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our charity's mission and vision. As the Head of Community Management, you will be responsible for driving the charity's strategy, ensuring our community receives the best possible support, and developing strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and implement the charity's mission and strategic plan, ensuring it is underpinned by prayer and effective implementation.
  • Identify opportunities and risks, including changes in the external operating environment, and develop strategies to maximise opportunities and minimise threats.
  • Develop holistically the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of all community members.
  • Demonstrate and grow a culture of prayer and intercession, ensuring it is the foundation of all charity activities.
  • Prepare the vision, projects, and annual budget in consultation with the Chair, Treasurer, and St Aldates COO, and actively manage its delivery.
  • Ensure effective governance of the charity, including compliance with all audit, legal, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with Trustees to ensure the charity's vision and mission are achieved.
Requirements
  • Experience of running a business or charity, with a heart for those who have been marginalised.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to drive the charity's mission and vision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Board, Trustees, and staff to achieve the charity's objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and risks.
