About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Podiatrist to join our team at NHS Professionals. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with complex medical conditions.

As a Podiatrist with NHS Professionals, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, vascular insufficiencies, physical or other disabilities, and other vulnerable groups. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and evaluating podiatric care for patients, as well as providing education and information to help patients manage their own foot needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess, diagnose, develop specialized treatment plans, and provide effective podiatric treatments using a problem-solving approach based on clinical need and evidence-based practice.
  • To commit to the philosophy of care with an emphasis on patient empowerment and independence by providing education and information to help patients manage their own foot needs.
  • To provide services at a wide variety of sites, including patients' homes, clinics, GP practices, community hospitals, and in challenging conditions, often working in isolation.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in podiatry.
  • HCPC Registration.
Salary and Benefits
  • A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
