Job Overview

Colas Rail UK is seeking a highly skilled transport specialist to join their team. This role requires the individual to safely operate and conduct various plant tractions within their allocated region.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and conducting machines safely and effectively, adhering to Colas Rail Services Operations procedures. They will also assist in maintaining quality systems and stabling databases by continually monitoring, reviewing, and making recommendations for updating as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and conduct machines safely and effectively
  • Work safely and effectively to Colas Rail Services Operations procedures
  • Assist in maintaining quality systems and stabling databases
  • Conduct route learning and refreshing as needed
  • Drive all other OTMs
  • Maintain and update route knowledge base
Competencies Required
  • Proven extended experience in driving trains
  • Significant route knowledge
  • European Driving Licence
  • Road Driving Licence
  • PTS
  • Fire Training
  • Emergency First Aid
  • Driver Mentor
  • Ability to drive all types of On-Track Machines
