Job Overview

As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the electrical systems of a Ministry of Defence facility in Stowmarket. Your primary responsibilities will include performing planned and preventative electrical maintenance, diagnosing and replacing failed electrical components, responding to electrical breakdowns, and completing repairs in compliance with safety regulations.

You will also be responsible for actively engaging in fault-finding and problem-solving across electrical systems, installing electrical systems in accordance with design and IET Wiring Regulations, monitoring and ordering critical spares to ensure system continuity, supporting local and business zero carbon initiatives, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of electrical systems and experience in electrical maintenance. You will also need to possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have the capability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
