About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pensions Actuary to join our GMP Equalisation Team. This is an exciting senior role that would suit someone who enjoys the technical aspects of actuarial work, with plenty of defined benefit pensions experience.

In this role, you will be working as part of the GMP team to assist clients in equalising pensions for their scheme members. This includes reviewing and signing off on complex calculations, reviewing and signing off on written advice to clients, communicating results to client teams, and supporting them as they work through projects together.

You will also have the opportunity to train and manage more junior colleagues as they embark on their actuarial career.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Working with and understanding member data
  2. Reviewing and signing off on complex calculations
  3. Reviewing and signing off on written advice to clients
  4. Communicating results to client teams and supporting them as they work through projects together
  5. Training and managing more junior colleagues
