Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality anaesthetic services, including pain management, to patients across our Trust. This will involve working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide safe and effective care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver anaesthetic services, including pain management, to patients across our Trust.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide safe and effective care.
- Participate in audit and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high standards of care.
- Contribute to the development of pain management services and protocols.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A basic medical degree and FRCA or equivalent specialist qualification.
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
- CCT in Anaesthesia or equivalent (equivalence must be confirmed by GMC by date of AAC).
- Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of the AAC.
While not essential, the following criteria would be advantageous:
- Higher degree or diploma in a relevant field.
- Experience of independent pain medicine practice.
- Proven experience of delivering anaesthesia to complex patients in areas relevant to the service need.
