About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team as a department lead. As a key member of our accounting practice, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing corporate tax advice, managing a small portfolio of tax compliance work, and assisting the internal team with tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Oversee Corporate Tax Advice
    • Provide expert guidance on company de-mergers, holdco's, MBO's/MBI's, clearance letters, tax due diligence work, tax warranty and covenant reviews.
    • Advise on tax-related issues, including share option schemes and other complex tax matters.
  • Manage Tax Compliance Work
    • Oversee a small portfolio of tax compliance work for large clients, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Assist the Internal Team
    • Provide support and guidance on tax matters, including complex Corporation tax computations and capital allowance queries.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Contribute to the growth and development of our accounting practice.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
