About the Role

The GAP Group Limited is seeking a skilled Lifting Engineer to join our team. As a Lifting Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our extensive range of lifting equipment to the highest standards.

The Role

Our team is responsible for providing top-notch lifting solutions to our customers. You will be working on a variety of equipment, from small shackles and slings to material lifts and aluminium gantries. Your role will involve diagnosing and repairing faults, updating service records, and ensuring the workshop area is clean and tidy.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working as a Lifting Engineer/Fitter in a busy depot or similar environment
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing lifting equipment faults is essential
  • LEEA qualification is highly desirable
  • Ability to work on own initiative and assist other team members when required
  • A customer-focussed approach to their work and strong attention to detail
  • Valid driving licence is preferable
