Imerys is a leading global company in the world of minerals with industrial applications. As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the purchasing plans within the framework of the BLI development project.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to join our team as a Purchasing Manager. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Business or General Engineering with a specialisation in purchasing. They will have strong experience in purchasing industrial equipment, engineering contracts, and indirect services.

The ideal candidate will have worked on a project model, managing large tenders for equipment and services. They will also have experience in procurement and interfaces between procurement and purchasing. Additionally, they will have experience in contract negotiation, particularly for equipment and engineering services.

In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers and Stream Leaders to implement the purchasing plans. You will ensure the proper implementation of the Sourcing Request tool and collaborate with other purchasing categories as needed.

The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for attending project meetings, collaborating with the legal department, and supporting technical teams. You will also support the deployment of Group IT solutions such as SAP and IVALUA.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, a generous pension plan, life assurance, and company sick pay.
