About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our team at Prometheus Safe and Secure. As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our qualified nursing staff in safely transferring patients and providing care across various business areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients with mental health needs.
  • Assist qualified nursing staff in safely conveying and transferring patients under their care.
  • Ensure accurate and timely records of patient information and report any issues as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders to establish a clear understanding of patient needs.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in regular training and meetings to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Act as a team leader without a qualified nurse, taking charge and leading the staffing team when transferring an informal patient.
Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
  • Proactive and positive self-starter with excellent teamwork skills.
  • Valid Enhanced DBS and full UK driving license.
  • Currently working in a compliance-focused role.
  • Right to work in the UK.
