Safety and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring SHEQ compliance across multiple sites in East Anglia, with a focus on driving behavioural change and managing incident investigations.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with experience of working in a multi-site environment. They will be responsible for advising on risk management, CDM regulations, fire safety, and heavy machinery, as well as overseeing the development and implementation of health and safety documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites across East Anglia to drive behavioural change and manage incident investigations
  • Advise on risk management, CDM regulations, fire safety, and heavy machinery
  • Oversee the development and implementation of health and safety documentation

Requirements

  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field (e.g. health and safety, engineering)
  • NEBOSH qualification or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven track record of health and safety experience in a multi-site environment
