Job Title: Procurement Sourcing Excellence

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Procurement Sourcing Excellence Lead. As a key member of our Global Sourcing Excellence Organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving Sourcing Excellence initiatives and projects within the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading Regional Sourcing Excellence Initiatives: Analyze existing sourcing processes to identify opportunities for improvement, design and implement optimized sourcing processes, and ensure alignment with global standards and regional supply chain needs.
  • Global Reporting and Performance Management: Develop and maintain reports on sourcing performance across all clients, ensure global understanding and use of reports, and champion the use of standard methods.
  • Process Improvement and Automation: Utilize prompt engineering skills to enhance automation and efficiency of sourcing and procurement processes, and ensure new processes deliver measurable benefits.
  • Collaboration and Change Management: Collaborate with Regional Management teams to address sourcing practice deficiencies, facilitate cross-functional teams to drive adoption of new sourcing processes, and develop change management strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators to monitor sourcing and procurement process effectiveness, and regularly report on process performance to Global Sourcing Excellence leadership.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to sourcing and procurement teams on new processes, tools, and prompt engineering techniques, and conduct onboarding sessions for new sourcers and procurement specialists.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Identify and mitigate risks associated with sourcing activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and client standards, and ensure sourcing and procurement teams adhere to internal controls and standards.
  • Global Sourcing Excellence Initiatives: Co-design and lead the implementation of global Sourcing Excellence initiatives, with a strong emphasis on procurement best practices, and collaborate with key stakeholders to drive sourcing and procurement excellence initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience and Expertise: Experience in Project Management with a strong focus on processes and tools, strong analytical skills, and strategic thinking abilities, as well as expertise in prompt engineering and AI-driven tools.
  • Leadership and Collaboration Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, particularly within supply chain, procurement, reporting, and IT, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attributes and Mindset: Proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented mindset, ability to adapt to changing market conditions and organizational needs, commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, particularly in AI and automation, and a curious mindset and willingness to learn new ways of working.
