We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in groundworks to join our team at Involve Recruitment. About the JobThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, ensuring financial resources are utilized efficiently and effectively throughout the project lifecycle. This requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to provide accurate cost estimates and financial advice.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, particularly in cost control, and possess excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels. A strong proficiency in preparing detailed cost estimates, monitoring project expenditures, and implementing cost control measures is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Project Cost Management: Manage project costs to ensure efficient and effective use of financial resources.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate and complete cost estimates for construction projects.
- Financial Reporting: Conduct regular financial assessments and provide reports on project costs to stakeholders.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on project specifications and budgets.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong Analytical Skills: A keen eye for detail, particularly in cost control.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Cost Control: Strong proficiency in preparing detailed cost estimates, monitoring project expenditures, and implementing cost control measures.
The salary for this position is approximately £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and opportunities for career growth and development.
