Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to children and young people, focusing on building strengths and promoting positive change.
  • Work collaboratively with professionals, parents, and foster carers to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of groups and workshops for children and adults, promoting trauma-informed practice and attachment-based approaches.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to share knowledge and expertise, ensuring comprehensive support for children and families.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with children and young people, with a background in social care, youth work, education, or a related field.
  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of organisation, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
