We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team at Tower Veterinary Centre in Perth, Scotland. The ideal candidate will be able to assist Veterinary Surgeons and RVNs with patients, providing exceptional care and attention to their needs.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week between 8am-7:30pm Monday-Friday and Saturday 9am-1pm. As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manual handling and caring for animals with empathy and compassion.
  • Running laboratory tests and packaging samples.
  • Help maintain stock levels and ensure effective stock control, including ordering and monitoring stock requirements.
  • Answering phone calls and managing client queries.
