Job Summary

The Hilton Central School District is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as an Assistant Principal's Secretary at the High School. This 12-month, 7.5 hour/day position will provide administrative support to the Assistant Principal and perform various clerical tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents/guardians, and staff
  • Manage the Assistant Principal's calendar and perform additional duties as assigned
  • Operate computer programs, including Microsoft and Google, and learn other software as needed
  • Develop and maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Work effectively under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
Requirements

Applicants must be reachable on the Monroe County Civil Service eligible list or currently working in the Office Clerk III title to be considered. A customer service approach, strong organizational skills, and ability to learn new software are essential for success in this role.
