Job Title: ESG Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled ESG Data Analyst to join our Health, Safety & Sustainability team at Aston Martin F1 Team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sustainability strategy by managing, analysing, and reporting on ESG data. This involves collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate data collection, monitoring, and display of key ESG metrics, as well as assisting in the preparation of sustainability reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collect, administer, and manage data from multiple sources related to environmental, social, and governance practices, including waste production, energy, water, fuel, and gas consumption, and carbon emissions.
  2. Monitor environmental KPIs and create intensity metrics to measure the efficiency and impact of operations.
  3. Develop and coordinate a centralized database for ESG metrics, ensuring correct paperwork is evidenced within our ISO 14001 & ISO 50001 management system folders for auditable data integrity and accuracy.
  4. Statistically analyse trends in ESG data to identify patterns, insights, and anomalies, and investigate anomalies or deviations in data trends, providing explanations for the variations.
  5. Collaborate with IT to maintain and create PowerBI dashboards for business use, identifying opportunities for process improvements in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  6. Compile data to prepare detailed and accurate quarterly reports on ESG performance, including progress on KPIs, targets, anomalies, and trends.
  7. Support the wider team by contributing towards external reporting requirements, supplying and organizing data against widely recognized global frameworks such as GRI, SBTI, and GHG protocol.
  8. Stay informed about the latest developments in streamlining ESG/EHS data reporting.
  9. Assist in implementing net-zero emissions reduction strategies, providing analytical support, tracking progress, and identifying opportunities for reduction across operations.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Sustainable Development, or a related field, with evidence of a strong statistical background.
  2. Junior experience in ESG data analysis or carbon footprint reporting.
  3. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
  4. Passionate about statistical analysis and dissecting large data sets for reporting, as well as protecting the planet by furthering the ESG agenda.
  5. Willingness to be proactive and undertake projects.
  6. Flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
