Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Marston's PLC. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the pub, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in the management of the pub, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Manage and maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a warm and welcoming experience.
- Assist with the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing initiatives to drive sales and revenue growth.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and staff.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
