Are you passionate about stem cell research and want to make a difference in the field? We are looking for a skilled Human Model Core Laboratory Manager to join our team at the Francis Crick Institute.

As a Human Model Core Laboratory Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Human Models Core laboratory, ensuring that all activities are conducted safely and efficiently. You will manage a team of researchers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.

We are looking for someone with excellent leadership and management skills, who can motivate and inspire a team to achieve outstanding results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory management and be able to communicate effectively with scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders.

In this role, you will also contribute to the development of new laboratory procedures and protocols, collaborating with other teams to drive innovation and excellence in laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Human Models Core laboratory
  • Manage a team of researchers and technicians, providing guidance and support
  • Ensure that all activities are conducted safely and efficiently
  • Contribute to the development of new laboratory procedures and protocols

Requirements:

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g., laboratory science, biochemistry, biology)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in laboratory management and supervision
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
