Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to contribute to the educational development of students in primary schools within the Wellingborough, Kettering, and Corby area.
Key Responsibilities:- Class Leadership: Take responsibility for leading classes under the guidance of teaching staff, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Curriculum Support: Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, providing support to individual students and small groups as needed.
- Assessment: Contribute to the assessment process by conducting observations, recording student progress, and providing feedback to both students and teaching staff.
- Differentiation: Work closely with teachers to differentiate instruction based on the needs of individual students, ensuring an inclusive learning experience for all.
- Behavior Management: Implement effective behavior management strategies, promoting a positive and respectful classroom culture.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with teaching staff and other support professionals to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching and leadership skills, staying updated on educational trends and best practices.
- Parental Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents through regular communication, parent-teacher meetings, and involvement in school events.
Requirements:
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience leading classes in a primary school setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals.
- A proactive and positive approach to supporting student learning and development.
- Flexibility to work in different schools within the Wellingborough, Kettering, and Corby area.
