Job Title: NX CAD Engineer

We are seeking an experienced NX CAD Engineer to join our team at a globally recognized automotive company. This is a long-term contract role that may run for several years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and model metal and interior/exterior trim components using NX CAD software.
  • Manage created CAD models in Teamcenter, ensuring all attributes are completed.
  • Prepare engineering release packs and work under the direction of a lead project engineer.
  • Take CAD designs from concept to finished model and produce finished drawings for engineering release.
  • Support and investigate resolution of build issues during pre-production builds and launch phase.
  • Support cost-down activities on current production vehicles.
Requirements:
  • Educated to HNC or equivalent within an engineering-related discipline with automotive experience in component design.
  • Experienced NX user, including complex surfacing.
  • Experience using Teamcenter.
  • Knowledge of metal and interior/exterior trim components.
  • A working knowledge of component manufacturing and tooling requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working Hours and Pay:
  • Monday to Friday
  • 39 hours per week
  • £27.00 per hour
