About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at TC Facilities Management. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and implementation of all health and safety requirements, both by law and in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety ISO45001:2018 requirements.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement programs in line with ISO 4001:2018 processes.
  • Hold corrective action meetings with functional heads and senior managers to ensure continued appraisal of the quality procedure and cascade best practice.
  • Be responsible for fire safety at the support office.
  • Acknowledge and project manage the resolution of non-conformances.
  • Monitor H&S legislation to ensure company conformance.
  • Control and monitor company accident reporting procedures, ensuring all incidents are processed in line with company policy, statistics are collated and analyzed, and a trend report is provided.
  • Record and report on RIDDOR to the HSE.
  • Collect statistics to identify and measure past performance, establish objectives, and targets.
  • Regularly review COSHH, risk assessments, and safety data sheets.
  • Work closely with the training department to ensure H&S induction training is implemented.
  • Promote a health and safety culture.
  • Report on near misses and pregnancy risk assessments.
  • Cascade H&S information to all personnel, ensuring their understanding and compliance.
  • Control and monitor company accident reporting procedures, ensuring all incidents are processed in line with company policy, statistics are collated and analyzed, and a trend report is provided.
  • Undertake liaison with the HSE and other official bodies/agencies as required.
  • Lead on all mobilization/demobilization projects as and when required.
Requirements
  • Significant knowledge of H&S law and H&S Act 1974.
  • Significant knowledge of ISO accreditation requirements.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate/IOSH Managing Safely.
  • Experience in contract mobilization/demobilization projects.
  • Significant keyboard skills and experience of working with Microsoft office applications, with excellent Word and Excel skills.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work output.
  • Experience of dealing with key customer contacts and employees at all levels.
  • Evidence of tenacity, initiative, excellent interpersonal skills, and reliability under pressure.
