Job Title: Learning Disability Support Specialist

Description:

Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced professional to provide support and care to adults with learning disabilities.

The ideal candidate will possess a caring and empathetic nature, with at least six months of experience in social care settings. A valid UK driving license and Enhanced DBS are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing therapeutic care and support to patients with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.
  • Assisting residents through a care pathway to live as independently as possible.
  • Observing, monitoring, and keeping records of patient conditions.

Requirements:

  • A strong desire to create positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities.
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
  • At least six months of experience working in a social care setting.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
