Main Purpose of the Job:

The successful candidate will lead the Engineering Team by example, representing International Automotive Components as the primary contact for Product/System Design Engineering. Main Missions and Results:
  • Lead the design and product engineering team to deliver high-quality products that meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing plants to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
  • Develop and implement design strategies that drive cost, timing, quality, robustness, sustainability, and repeatability.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Work closely with the Programme and Business Manager to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in automotive, plastics engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent job-related experience.
  • Substantial experience in interior system delivery, with a working knowledge of materials and manufacturing technologies.
  • Cradle-to-grave project experience, including process and tool maturation and program launch.
  • Experience in surface development, with conversance in major CAD systems applicable to automotive design.
  • Demonstrated excellent management and interpersonal skills, with a working knowledge of job-related technical skills.
