We are seeking an experienced Autodesk Inventor Designer to join our team in Burton upon Trent. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components for large special purpose equipment.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Autodesk Inventor for 3D design and drafting, as well as proficiency in performing stress and structural analysis using FE packages. They will also need to have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience working with steel frame and plate fabrication, pneumatics, and large equipment-related designs.

The company offers a competitive salary range of £40-£45 per hour, on a limited company contract basis outside IR35. In addition to a rewarding salary, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and develop your skills in a dynamic and growing industry.

  • Develop and implement design solutions for complex mechanical components.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Utilise Autodesk Inventor to create 3D designs and perform stress analysis calculations.

Applicants should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification and strong experience working with Autodesk Inventor. A proven track record of delivering high-quality results and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
