Job Summary:

Cpl Life Sciences is seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with software and systems engineers to define high-quality test specifications against our requirements.
  • Design and implement automated test solutions to ensure efficient and effective testing.
  • Perform exploratory testing and implement manual test plans to identify and report defects.
  • Test execution, results analysis, and report generation to ensure timely and accurate delivery of test results.
  • Work on embedded platforms and Windows-based applications to ensure comprehensive testing.

Requirements:

  • A degree-level qualification in Physics, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • ISTQB Foundation level certification.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with demonstrated ability to understand and assess complex systems comprising both software and hardware.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Background in embedded systems and Windows application testing.
  • Advantageous:
    • Experience with medical devices or in an equivalent regulated industry.
    • Experience of products for life-sciences research and the underlying biological processes.
    • Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
    • Coding experience with C# or C++.
