Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Description:

• A 20-month contract role based in Leatherhead, requiring full-time on-site work (5 days a week).

Mandatory Requirements:

• Active MOD Clearance and Single passport holder.
• Clearance remains valid providing the following criteria are met:
• Security clearances must NOT be more than 10 years old or 7 years for DV; and it must have more than a year remaining before expiry – ideally 18 months
• Candidate has taken up post within 6 months of the clearance being granted.
• The individual must have worked on a government contract or for a government department/Police Force in a role requiring NSV clearance within the last 12 months;
• The individual must not have resided overseas for more than 6 months during the break in service between government contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing DevSecOps processes, including selection of tools such as orchestration, automated test and security scanning, application deployment.
• Defining infrastructure including physical and virtual infrastructure, including infrastructure as code.
• Deployment, maintenance, and administration of tools.
• Containerisation in design and deployment of container orchestration software.
• SUPPORTING users including developers, testers, and other stakeholders in their use of the DevSecOps environments.
• Explaining the benefits of the DevSecOps solutions to stakeholders including developers, test teams, clients, and managers.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Proven experience in architecting full DevSecOps solutions including documenting the solution and presenting it to stakeholders.
• Track record in successful transition of project developments to DevSecOps processes.
• Experience of secure environments and management of security classification barriers.

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
