Clinical Pathway Manager

The Clinical Pathway Manager role at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust involves leading the integrated community elements of the stroke pathway, including the community stroke service and therapy team within SPARC. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality services aligned to the trust's aims, achieving key performance targets, and developing teams to meet national and local priorities.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Deliver services that meet the trust's clinical and operational standards.
  2. Lead the development of the community stroke service and therapy team within SPARC.
  3. Collaborate with the Integrated Pathway Manager to achieve key performance targets and national priorities.
  4. Develop and implement effective workforce planning strategies to meet the needs of the service.
  5. Support the transformation of new pathways of care and delivery of projects.

As a Clinical Pathway Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a experienced team and contribute to the development of the trust's stroke services. You will be expected to have a Master's-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience, as well as registration with the NMC or HPC where appropriate.

Requirements
  • A Master's-level qualification or education in a management discipline, or equivalent relevant experience at senior level.
  • Registration with the NMC or HPC where appropriate.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Extensive experience in managing complex services and teams.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Applicants should be willing to undertake any training, education or development identified during the personal development planning process. The successful candidate will be expected to travel throughout the city on a regular basis.
