Fundraising Strategist

Fundraising Manager Opportunity:
The National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) is hiring a Fundraising Manager to support its mission of promoting high-quality, accessible journalism. This is a one-year fixed-term contract with potential for extension.

About You:
You will be a highly motivated and experienced fundraising professional with a proven track record in securing major donations and sponsorships. You will have excellent relationship-building skills, a strategic mindset, and knowledge of the media and journalism sector. Your excellent proposal and grant-writing expertise will enable you to develop and deliver comprehensive fundraising plans.

Responsibilities:
- Raise £1 million in annual income through securing major donations and sponsorships
- Work closely with the CEO and senior team to develop strategies and cultivate donor relationships
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate sponsors, philanthropic foundations, and high-net-worth individuals
