As a Salesforce Account Executive at Databricks, you will be responsible for acquiring new accounts and managing full sales cycles. You will assess your territory, develop a successful account execution strategy, and identify new use case opportunities within new accounts. Our accelerators offer above 100% quota accomplishment, and you will be offered huge potential for career progression with the pace of the team's growth.

The impact you will have:

  • Develop and execute account execution strategies to drive sales growth
  • Identify and activate new accounts to execute account activation targets
  • Exceed activity and revenue targets
  • Track customer details, including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce
  • Identify new use case opportunities and showcase value to prospects
  • Promote the value of the Databricks' Data Intelligence Platform
  • Ensure 100% satisfaction among all customers

What we look for:

  • Experience penetrating new accounts, executing on first use cases, growing initial consumption, and closing deals in a direct sales role
  • Experience in relevant software sales development roles with consumption sales motion
  • Some exposure to software industry and grasp of basic concepts of selling SAAS, Big Data, and Business Value
  • Basic understanding of the data platform and cloud ecosystems
  • Success closing new accounts while working existing accounts
  • Passion for cloud technologies
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience
