Support Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a caring and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team at Cornerstone. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with physical and/or learning disabilities who live in their own shared home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with their day-to-day needs, including shopping, finances, cooking, housework, personal care, and medication.
  • Provide support with hobbies and interests, such as music, arts & crafts, and activities in the local community.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving license with at least 1 year's experience on the roads.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • An excellent grasp of the English language (written & spoken).
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Confidence in the use of computers.

Shift Patterns:

As we provide around-the-clock support, our services operate 24/7. Shift patterns will involve early mornings, days, and evenings, with weekends, public holidays, and sleepovers forming part of your rota on a rotational basis.

You will receive an additional payment of £96 for every sleepover shift you work.
