Job Title: Leadership and Management Assessor

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK-wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Leadership and Management Assessor to join our team. As an Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Leadership and Management / Operations Departmental Manager Level 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and support learners working towards the Level 5 Operations / Departmental Manager Apprenticeship Standard.
  • Deliver full training and support learners through their Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
  • Conduct study group and 1-1 sessions (online and face to face) with Managers, sharing experiences and leading discussions on leadership trends.
  • Record professional discussions on specific units/topics based on knowledge, independent research, and reflective accounts.
  • Deliver 1-1 and group-based training to learners, along with field-based assessments.
  • Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
  • Work to learner review and completion timescales.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience of delivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Leadership and Management / Operations Departmental Manager Level 5.
  • Hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
  • Must hold occupational competency within Management.
  • Must have a good level of ICT skills.
  • Confident to support learners in Maths and English Functional Skills.
  • Happy to conduct online remote assessments – and face to face when required.
  • Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
