Job Title: Resident Engineer - Material Handling
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to join our team at Professional Technical Ltd. As a Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing and repair of material handling equipment, ensuring all stock levels and movement records are accurate and correct.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing and repair of material handling equipment
- Ordering of parts as efficiently as possible
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and within the stipulated time period
- Managing own work-in-progress
- Maintaining a safe working environment and working in a safe manner
- Reporting any unsafe practices or potential hazards immediately
- Maintaining familiarization with policies and procedures and adhering to these
- Attending training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 qualified in Plant, Vehicle Maintenance, or similar
- Preferably served a full apprenticeship
- Plant Fitters, FLT Engineers, Vehicle Technicians, HGV Technician, or Ex forces will all be considered for this opportunity
- Technical experience in Engines, Electrics, and Diagnostics is compulsory
