About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team at Utility Line. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installation work packages, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Electrical Installation Work Packages: Ensure all electrical installation work packages are completed to a high standard, adhering to BS7671 and other relevant regulations.
  • Review and Understand Work Instructions: Thoroughly review and understand all work instructions to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
  • Provide Technical Advice: Offer technical advice on cable installation and design works, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Conduct Electrical Site Surveys: Complete electrical site surveys on existing supplies and new EV charger locations, identifying potential risks and hazards.
  • Carry Out Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments of the workplace, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Complete LV Cable Terminations: Complete LV cable terminations from 240mm to 1000mm, adhering to industry standards.
  • Work with Large LV Supplies: Work with large LV supplies within LV switch rooms and substations, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Skills: Hold 18th edition C&G L3 2019 qualification, with test and inspection preferable but not essential. Possess risk assessment training, Level 2 or Level 3 C&G Electrical Installation, C&G Inspection & Testing Course, and C&G 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Possess good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team or individually, with strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Driving License: Hold a full clean driving license, valid for up to 3.5T only.
