Optometrist Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Conduct eye examinations, contact lens, and extended service examinations
Work alongside our Dispensing Optician Manager to support training, coaching, and maintaining departmental standards
Deliver a wide range of care for the treatment and monitoring of eye conditions

Requirements

Fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC
Registered performer with your NHS area team or health board
MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining Asda – funded and supported by us)
On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD
