Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at The Recruitment Bunker. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and products for our clients in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and products using CAD software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets manufacturing requirements
  • Implement Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles to optimize production processes
  • Work closely with Engineering Analysis team to meet design targets and drive cost-effective solutions
  • Communicate design solutions to stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are achieved
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • Good understanding of CAD and CAE literacy and ability to use Catia V5
  • Engineering design knowledge and ability to design to manufacturing process
  • Understanding of importance of managing engineering change requests and claim management
  • IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/provided
