Assembly Production Specialist

MTrec Recruitment is seeking a skilled Assembly Operative to join their team in Evenwood. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for assembling a range of components in a fast-paced environment. Your duties will include:

* Daily meetings with the Team Leader or Supervisor to discuss workload and priorities
* Assisting in the prioritization of workloads within the Department or designated Production Line
* Performing a variety of assembly tasks on a range of components
* Lifting and handling heavy materials when required
* Using various hand tools, including drills, screwdrivers, rivet guns, and spanners
* Conducting quality inspections of completed work
* Carrying out additional duties as set by the Team Leader
* Maintaining the company's health and safety standards at all times, including general housekeeping duties

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude, be willing to learn new skills, and have experience working in a fast-paced assembly or production environment. You will also need to be confident on the job and able to take on additional responsibilities as necessary.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8:00pm to 16:30pm, with overtime available when required. The rate of pay is £11.44 per hour, rising to £12 per hour after a successful training period.
